At Rokko Garden Terrace, one of Japan’s leading scenic spots, you can savor the natural environment of the surrounding national park and Mt. Rokko as well as an expansive panoramic view and artworks. In the evening, you can also enjoy dining and shopping against the backdrop of the area’s legendary “$10-million dollar night view.” Immersive art events are held at the Shidare Museum, a fee-based observatory. As the site is located at an altitude of some 880 meters, the temperature tends to be 5 or 6 degrees Celsius lower than in the city, so it might be a good idea to bring some warm clothing.
