Kaoru SOTOME

Born in Tochigi Prefecture in 1996, lives in Aichi Prefecture.

Currently enrolled in a post-graduate program in the sculpture department at Aichi Prefectural University of the Arts.

Looking closely at something that is difficult to see is like trying to expand your imagination.
Through my sculpture, I reexamine things that we tend to accept without hesitation, such as the fluctuations on the earth’s surface that cannot be seen on a map and the process of turning animals into food.
I create works that are difficult to look in order to reflect on the currents of reality.
