I majored in sculpture, and I make metal works. For the most part, sculptural works are not supposed to be touched. This made me think there should be more sculptures that people can touch, and inspired the theme of “touchable sculpture.”
In addition, I create works depicting living things, and by substituting sculptures for the creatures that we cannot usually touch, I attempt to transform the extraordinary into the ordinary.
