Mt. ROKKO CABLE CAR & TOURISM COMPANY (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) recognizes the importance of personal information and complies with all laws, regulations, and internal rules concerning personal information.
In addition, in all of its business activities, the Company shall protect the personal information of its customers by acquiring, using, and managing such personal information appropriately. The Company’s policy regarding the handling of personal information is described below.

The Company shall collect your personal information in a lawful and fair manner. The Company shall refrain from collecting personal information through deception or other wrongful means.

When obtaining personal information, the Company shall clarify the purpose for which the information is to be used, and if the information is to be provided to a third party, the Company shall clarify the purpose, scope, etc. of such provision and shall do so within an appropriate scope. The use of personal information obtained shall be limited to the purposes stated in advance, and personal information shall not be used beyond the scope of the stated purpose without the customer’s approval.

The Company shall implement appropriate security measures to prevent the loss, destruction, alteration, or leakage of customers’ personal information, and shall stringently manage such information. However, please understand that the Company shall not be held responsible for any damage suffered by the customer or a third party due to an improper act by a cracker, etc.

The Company shall refrain from providing personal information to third parties without the consent of the customer, except in the cases listed below, which have been previously authorized by laws and regulations.

1. 1. When outsourcing a part of the work handling personal information to an outside company. In such cases, however, personal information shall be provided only after concluding a contract with subcontractors to ensure that said subcontractors shall not use personal information for any purpose other than the work entrusted to them by the Company and that they shall properly manage personal information.
2. 2. When cooperating with a national agency, a local government, or an individual or entity entrusted by either a national agency or local government to execute affairs prescribed by laws and regulations.
3. 3. When the Company believes that there is an imminent danger to the life, body, or property of the Company, another customer, or a third party, and that it is necessary to protect the life, body, or property of the Company, another customer, or a third party.
4. 4. When the Company deems it particularly necessary for the improvement of public health or the sound upbringing of children and it is difficult to obtain the customer’s consent.
