A collector who started in 2023, when cherry blossoms were blooming along the Kamo River. Collectors gather items that others may consider mundane.
A recipe for an occasional dish, a walking route, a way to wear glasses, a story about how you hurt your back that other day, a person, their life, their lifestyle, the small and large things that make up a town. Conveying things to people in all kinds of ways, collecting, trying newspapers, fortune-telling, and so on. She believes that through this process, she can know that she is alive and that people’s memories will be transmitted.
The things I will be collecting on Rokko have perhaps been somewhere, there, all along, even now, as I write this.
