Reiichi NAMATAME

Born 1980 in Miyagi, Live in Saitama.
2000 Graduated Sendai Chuo Barber and Beauty College

The glass installation is based on an original novel depicting a world in which everything has been turned into glass, expressing its scenery.
His work includes both indoor and outdoor exhibition styles, such as outdoor music festivals and commercial facilities, with themes such as environmental issues and diversity.
By depicting the stories of luminous, brilliantly colored plants and a wide variety of vitrified organisms, he expresses the strangeness and mystery of life that continues to evolve, undaunted by environmental destruction, in a fantastical way. He attempts to materialize a vitrified world.
In addition, he has been involved in an art project at a children's home since 2023.
He passionately supports and collaborates on this project, which intentionally creates something extraordinary in the midst of everyday life to capture children's attention and has the potential to nurture a variety of skills, such as an interest in art and glass and a desire to interact with others through this experience.
