ITO Taikan

Born 2000 in Nara, Live in Osaka
2025 Graduate School of Arts, Hiroshima City University Completed the sculpture major

Inspired by personal experiences, anecdotes, and historical figures, he creates sculptures centered on the theme of “love and sculpture.” Working primarily in iron, he is interested in the material’s fluidity and in the hollowness that characterizes iron sculpture. Based on the idea that emotions can be understood as a kind of liquid, he creates sculptures that function as vessels.
