Ryuichi Ono
Filmmaker / Artist. Born in Hyogo, based in Tokyo. Working across 3DCG, live-action, and programming, he maintains a broad creative practice centered on moving images, ranging from films and music videos to stage production and installations. In recent years, through his original visual expression technique "Tangible VFX," he has been exploring the expansion of screen-based visual effects into physical matter and space. His work seeks to bridge the gap between digital phenomena and physical reality. Major works include SENSHO, which imbues three-dimensional forms with ethereal visual effects, and VoF (Vibro-Optical Field), a spatial installation utilizing 81 vibration actuators. He is currently a doctoral student at Tokyo Metropolitan University.
