Ideas always appear in my mind as scenes. In my work, I faithfully reproduce these scenes according to the given conditions while searching for a formal solution to the problems. Instead of being an expression of myself, my work is strongly informed by things that just happen to be there. Although I did actually create the work, this is the overriding feeling I have, especially with an exhibition. In these places, regardless of my own intentions, time flows in a vivid manner, and I find myself gazing at them with a sense of admiration. I hope that this work will also allow you to spend a luxurious time in the open air of Mt. Rokko.
