Misa Funai creates paintings and installations based on the themes of "paradise" and "boundaries.
Her series of improvised line drawings and spaces composed of shaped canvases and mirrors create a space in which the viewer enters the boundary of images. She gives form to the invisible, and crossing two and three dimensions, imagination and reality, past and future. She feels that the power of people's imagination will open up a new future.
