Herman van den Muijsenberg
1989 in 's-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands, lives in Amsterdam.
Master of Arts - New Media and Digital Culture - Universiteit van Utrecht in 2012.
Everything Sounds. Herman van den Muijsenberg is an artist and curator of exhibitions and events. With his sound sculptures, Herman van den Muijsenberg explores the endless ways we can listen. In his sound practice, Herman is interested in the process of transformation through associative and formal properties of sound. In addition to producing sound art, Herman van den Muijsenberg also curates exhibitions and events. His projects explore sound, its role in public space and the way it relates to a variety of art practices.
Herman van den Muijsenberg is Master of Arts graduated at Utrecht University. He has studied in Japan at Rikkyo Daigaku. Currently he researches the archive of sound-artist Max Neuhaus in collaboration with De Appel. He is director at Sinus foundation and advisor for Amsterdam Fund for the Arts.
