We have embraced the themes of Jomon, tools, and earth, and have each engaged in different activities as designer, scientific artist, and fine artist.
At Mt. Rokko, a place once known as "Mukoyama", we formed a unit with the intention of returning the land's memory, which ascended from the sea to the mountain, back to nature.
The mud boat serves as a tool to transport the Jomon culture, which thrived in harmony with natural cycles, into the modern era and represents a ritual for us.

Taiwanese-Japanese heritage.
After joining a major telecommunications company, I engaged in bottom-up business development. I have worked as a creative director and designer on various projects, from business planning to production.
I am captivated by the Jomon period's interaction with nature, the creative spirit seen in pottery and clay figurines, and the primal resilience. Embracing these elements, I advocate for "Neo-Jomon," reinterpreting and implementing these essences for modern society. My goal is to create works that evoke a sense of timeless connection, mystery, and the in-between spaces of boundaries.
This work marks my debut in art production.

Scientific artist. I explore the boundary between art and design by creating tools that serve as devices for noticing the wonders of the ordinary.
He researches exciting experiences to nurture curiosity, and proposes artworks that renew everyday life by uncovering the wonders of the everyday from the perspective of art and design.
Our works are secret tools to gently notice the joy of discovery and the discomfort in the ordinary, and to make us laugh a little. Even if they are not necessarily useful for someone or something, they challenge new ways of looking at materials and the world.
Just as the transistor, which had no use in the beginning, is now used in PCs and cell phones, I would be happy if you could see a piece of possibility in the very existence of something together with me.
