Teppei KANEUJI

Born 1978 in Kyoto, Live in Kyoto.
2003 Master degree in Sculpture, Kyoto City University of Arts

He gathers everyday objects and uses collage-like techniques for his works. He has been exploring various forms of expression, including sculpture, painting, video, and photography, and has consistently sought to devise a modeling system that reveals the relationship between material and image. In addition to exhibitions in Japan and abroad, he has produced numerous pieces of stage art and book covers. He also directed “tower (THEATER)” (ROHM Theater Kyoto South Hall, Kyoto Experiment 2017), a theatrical adaptation of his film.
