Yoshiko NARAGINO

Born 1985 in Osaka, live in Osaka.
MA Kyoto SEIKA University (Art & Ceramic)

I use the texture, color, shape, and weight of ceramics to create motifs of plants, mountains, and animals, aiming to create works that make one's heart leap with joy at first glance and give a feeling that something good is about to happen.
The works, which are made of clay and become ceramics from the clay, carry weight and thickness, sparkling and shimmering, and celebrate the joy of glamour, abundance, and overflowing vitality. There is a utopia created by nature and people.
The space, the work, the form, and the presence of the work transform the place, creating a comfortable space where the place and the objects become one in all. It is a visualization of a landscape that you may have seen or imagined somewhere, and that makes you feel a sense of anticipation.
