Yuka NOMURA

Born 1994 in Gifu, live in Kyoto
2019 MFA in sculpture, Kyoto City University of Art, Japan

She is interested in the action of fundamental forces that pervade everyday life, society, and nature. She expresses the action and vectors of the forces that move the world, as well as the unique time that flows through it, through sculptures and installations. By reexamining everyday life from different perspectives through her works, she attempts to touch the undiscovered “forms” and “wonders” of our world and to consider what it means to be alive.
