SHOIN Senior & Junior Highschool Art Club
SHOIN Senior & Junior Highschool Art Club
Founded in 1892 Kobe City
Shoin Junior & Senior High School is a prestigious girls’ school located in Kobe. After school, some rather unique members get together in the art room. The hungry searching for food, those working hard to spread the word about their favorite characters, those returning from other clubs they belong to and getting together...
Drawing what they please and waiting for their friends, casual conversations unfold endlessly in the art room after school. A spark of inspiration arising suddenly from within the chaos foreshadows the birth of a magnificent piece of art. This springs forth not from the mind of a single club member, but from something akin to a collective consciousness, where reactions call forth reactions and vague silhouettes become clear.
Art club advisor Hiroyasu Miyazaki works behind the scenes to capture ideas that have emerged from chaos and nurture them so that they grow into something big.
