Ruri TAKAHASHI

Born 1998 in Tokyo, Live in Tokyo.
2023 Graduated Tokyo University of the ArtsGraduate School of Fine Arts sculpture

I make stone sculptures with motifs of people and human behavior that I find interesting in my daily life.
People live their lives thinking about many things as they meet strangers, and I believe the strangers they meet are also thinking about many things in the same way.
I hope my work will remind viewers of something other than what I am reminded of, depending on their previous thoughts and memories.
For on-site productions, I like to start thinking after I arrive and create something unique that can only be made in each location.
