Yuuna TANAKA
Born 1997 in Okayama, live in Hiroshima.
2022 Compeleted the department of Fine arts, faculty of Fine arts, Hiroshima City University.
A dyeing, weaving, and sculpting artist who creates works through the traditional “tsuzure weaving” technique. In addition to works focusing on dyeing and weaving techniques, she also produces and runs interactive works that aim to “create connections between people.” Since the COVID-19 pandemic, she has performed on the streets, walking with her artwork and plants, creating chance encounters with others through her work and artistic activities.
