URBAN KNIT (Shouta KANEHIRA)
Born 1985 in Hokkaido, live in Tokyo
2019: Columbia University, GSAPP
Shouta KANEHIRA is an artist and urban designer of URBAN KNIT. He brings cross-disciplinary experience in art, architecture, and urban design with an aim of empowering the local community by positive change of public spaces. After graduation from Columbia GSAPP, he worked for architectural firms in the US and established URBAN KNIT in 2022.
