Hyunmin WOO has been active in the K-pop world since he was a child. While working internationally as a K-pop artist, he began painting to face his inner self between his false and real selves and to reclaim the pure light of his own life. He is working on various pieces as a process of creating a new life and building his true self while confronting his will, freedom, hope, love, and other emotions that he nearly lost. In recent years, he has been exploring points of contact between materials and awakening the five senses, such as the texture, feel, color, and smell of materials, while challenging himself to create diverse expressions that bring the richness of the inner growth process to life on canvas. His works are recordings of signals that echo from within, like a letter without words that he writes to unknown recipients.
