YAMADA Tsuyoshi

Born 1981 in tokyo, live in kyoto

Artist and the representative of Tadahon-ya. Born in Tokyo in 1981. Completed a doctoral course at Kyoto City University of Arts Graduate School.
He began with video art, then moved into theater, installations, and other forms of spatial art. He explores methods of spatially organizing and translating narratives while creating art using such techniques as scriptwriting, directing, and spatial composition.
Since 2015, he has run Tadahon-ya, a bookstore specializing in free newspapers in Kyoto, building a space that creates a point of contact between the people and the media.
Starting in 2017, he began working with Yoshitaka Yazu as the artist unit Byproducts Market, developing exhibitions and projects in different places themed on recycling of materials and creative works.
